We come across another daring and audacious spring/summer 2016 accessories trend, including …chokers, now worn by all the VIPs and It-girls of the moment!

This type of necklace comes from the Victorian era, when poor women wore it to enhance their look. Afterwards it has been the absolute protagonist of the 90’s fashion trends: there was a tattoo version in black, woven and plastic, or there was a versions with a satin ribbon and small pendant, with small diamond or faux pearls, remember?

After almost 30 years chokers are back into fashion in many fashion shows and are no longer just simple tattoo plastic collars or velvet adorned with pendants or cameos, but real jewels, aiming to enhance one of the most sensual part  of the female body.
